Who am I? I have no idea!! I know that I was born in 1980 and, since then, have been many things:
My mother has been my rock, my friend, my travel buddy, and my guardian angel. I wouldn’t be who I am without her love and support.
The three of us have been best friends and worst enemies. We are very close in age which was both wonderful and terrible. I wouldn’t trade it for the world. We currently live in Texas (me), Virginia (Jessie) and Maine (Zachary). I miss them dearly!
I have coached, participated, watched and cheered for many activities most of my life. Some of my favorites are swimming, triathlons and rowing!
The phrase “Lifeguards for Life” is used by the United States Lifesaving Association and I am living it! I worked for Galveston Island Beach Patrol for 11 years and it is still in my blood.
A CAT MOM
Meet my first loves, Buoy (left) and Cracker (right). Litter mates born in 2001 and still going strong!
A DOG MOM
Ritchie (right) entered our lives in 2015 and Copper (left) came along in 2016. They were both rescued from Urgent Animals of Hearne/Robertson County.
I met my husband, Brandon in 2009. He is an incredible man and I am grateful every day that our paths crossed. We got married on December 19, 2015.
My little angel was born February 23, 2017. She amazes me by simply being here.
A FITNESS INSTRUCTOR
I stumbled into this career in 2004 and never looked back. I have taught for gyms, studios and am currently teaching at Texas A&M University as part of the Health & Kinesiology department.
Yoga changed my life. It has helped me evolve as an individual, communicate more effectively and even travel the globe!
I love new places and new things.
Ana-Maria and I met in high school and were pretty sure our destiny included swimming at the Olympics. The universe had other ideas. It took each of us on some crazy twisted paths, over walls, around obstacles and right back to hanging out in our bathing suits laughing our butts off! See? LOVING LIFE IS EASY!!
